Brand New Life for Used Tires



Mending the tires provide the owners of trucks, cars and other vehicles to save almost up to half of a percent of the new tires price. Majorly the trucking industry annually saves billions of dollars by the retreaded tires, and airline industry normally saves millions. This process saves the buyer’s money.

Mending a tire is one of a process which is quite inexpensive then of making a new tire. By abolishing a tread and using just the remaining body of the tire i.e. the casing, the produces reduces the quantity of oil required to manufacture a medium sized truck tire from 22 gallons to seven. Annually Re-tread plants in North America saves up to 400 million gallons of oil, which is estimated at approx 850.

Mended tires are not considered to be unsafe until or unless they are driven in the same conditions and the speed on which they were driven before.

The biggest user of mended tires is the airline industry. Nearly 80% of tires on commercial airlines and military jets are re-treaded. Annually 270 takeoffs are provided by more than 10 k mended tires that are still on use in airplanes.

The usage of re-tread tires is extensively acceptable that the tires on the road are mostly re-treads than the original tread tires. School buses and the entire emergency vehicles are mostly outfitted with them. Re-tread tires always reflect a high level satisfaction of a driver.

Re-tread a tire is no wonder a useful step in preventing a mosquito breed, as the mosquitoes use the wasted tires as their breeding grounds. This mending process of tires can surely brought up some useful benefits in the automotive industry as well as in the sustainable economy of a country.
